Is AI Censoring Us?
AI isn’t censoring us in the traditional sense. However, AI algorithms are used by platforms to filter content based on community guidelines, terms of service, and legal regulations. Sometimes, these algorithms might mistakenly flag or remove content that doesn’t actually violate any rules. While AI plays a role in content moderation, it’s ultimately humans who design and implement these systems, and they are responsible for ensuring fairness and accuracy. So, it’s more accurate to say that AI is involved in content moderation rather than censorship.
